Yes there is a little light that escapes around the doors and the air inlets and exhaust.I just shut the closet door
This is a prototype design I've revised it to address the light issue/exhaust port.
The exhaust on it, is in the top of the box to pull heat away from the lights.(it also acts as a bud dryer)I used a 100 cfm muffin fan 4"x4" as an exhaust and 3-2"x2" pc fans strapped together as an air inlet.
I first started this strain with a single 65w CFL flood fixture,I upgraded to 900 red/blue LEDs(4-225 lite panels on E-bay)after 4-5 wks growth was stunted.So I switched to 450 LEDs and 2-4bulb lite strips(1 on each side of LEDs)with 4-14w 6500k & 4-23w 6500k CFL's.After switching to this set up I got 1"of new growth overnite.I get between 1-2" of growth per week now.
I think those LEDs on E-bay were a bust I didn't get the growth expected it seemed to delay growth.I still use them as supplemental lighting(blue/red spectrum)
