I don't really know the history of my birds lives (Ihave 2) Someone gave them to me and they were well taken care of but I am the 3rd owner I think. I've had them for about 2 years and it took about a year for them to trust me but they still DO NOT like hands. lol It's funny because they don't realize that the hands are part of ME and not some creature coming at them. You can see in one of the pics where they nibble on the leaves sometimes lol they eat the trichs and all. I used to get them high by lightly blowing smoke in their direction until I realized that they were getting high on their own by nibbling. I would've named them Cheech and Chong but one is a female so it's Mama and McNasty. He's a biter!!! I've had a single female before and she used to lay an egg like once a year, is that like their menstrual cycle? Get rid of the old unfertilized egg and start producing a new one? It's wierd. Mama has never laid an egg yet, be it from mating or not so I'm puzzled. How do they nest? This is my first time owning two of them.
As for the pics, why do you insist on making me relive that horrible experience? ha ha Ok I tried to upload directly from my pc to the post-no good. pc to the gallery- shit had me all confused. Found photobucket, uploaded pics there and copied the code and pasted them in the add image thing when I posted. Resizing them to get em right was also a nightmare. lol I had to call my daughter for help after almost two days trying this shit. Good luck! If you right click on my pics and open link you can see the fullsize pic. When I left click em the word loading appears on the pic but nothing happens. Anyway big props to my baby girl for the help.
