Hey scott06,

I find I use about 20% less ferts for same growth rate when I use the trim compost as opposed to straight soil. Also, plants seem more resistant to minor problems such as micro nutrient imbalances due to pH variations. Remember, this is a soil additive and not a soil in itself. You will still need to add various elements such as perlite for drainage, etc. I think it makes a noticable if not outstanding difference in my grows when I use it, and I know it does reduce the amount of poisonous synthetic ferts that I give my plants.
