and have you look yet into topping, as you very limited with space in your grow drawer, it reduces height and for every top you take you plant will grow 2 new leaving you with a small, densely bushy plant and if you tie down the branches as with LST you get a nice little tree of buds. with just LST alone you won't yield such effects in neither the same time nor space, therefore the combination of both methods could be very interesting for you |
Yes I considered gutting the dresser because that's what the original article showed you to do but I want to keep the dresser in working order plus I pretty much get the same amount of space whether I glued the drawer fronts on or just had the sides hold them up. I want to be able to reassemble when I am finished in the future.
Also, if you check my pics before the plants were put in the dresser they were tied down because of height conditions and I have produced alot of inner growth. The bigger of the two might need to be tied down a little because it got a few burnt tips from the leaves touching the CFLs but nothing major.
As for topping I've heard that plants with removed/pruned leaves or stems do not produce more yield then it's worth to do it in the first place. That a perfectly left alone plant will grow just as good. I might consider tying down the top of the bigger plant once more but that's about it I think.
I like the suggestions though, thanks.
