What happened during the prohibition of alcohol?
Did they stop it? No.
Lots of folks were put in prisons for bootlegging...
Lots of folks were killed by bootleggers & cops alike...
Big money was tossed around on both sides...
Lots of folks (that didn't get dead) ended up rich... Or dirt poor.
Sound familiar?
It's the same with drugs.
By arbitrarily making something illegal, the government itself creates another black market, because people will continue to do what they want to do... Regardless of a stupid law.
The government gets another artificial "enemy" to fight. Requiring massive amounts of our tax dollars to fight this "enemy", further feeding the bureaucracy, and tightening their hold over us all.
More cops, more bureaucrats, more control over us, more, more, more...
Kids are killed in the streets, the schools, and even in their own homes by "gangstas" every day... Folks that wouldn't be dead if there wasn't some stupid law that never should have existed in the first place...
If drugs were to be decriminalized... or even legalized and accepted into society... The gangs and their "gangsta lifestyle" would fall apart... There would be no money in it... The street prices would be "shit".
There would be no need for about half the cops & other govt jobs out there...
The government created an artificial problem so they could bleed us dry and watch us die as they line their own pockets while pretending to be the solution.
The only real solution IS to legalize it.
Then it can be regulated, and even taxed. The deficit would shrink and the economy would eventually get better, and grow.
People could simply walk into a corner drug store & get whatever they want at 1/10th the prices previously paid on the street. Without having to worry about some thug jacking them... Some undercover pig busting them... Or WTF is really in that bag they're risking your ass to get.
People are going to smoke weed, do crack, shrooms, meth, etc. no matter what ignorant laws get passed. It is a total waste of time and money.
Instead of wasting BILLIONS of dollars each year fighting a stupid and impossible to win "war on drugs" they could make revenue off of it. Instead, they seek to control us more. Erode our rights... And destroy our society from within.
Think about that.
