could be that i'm a bit to focused on soil here, but that temps around 80-85F can already damage the root system... i don't know - but hey, i can try that out in my DWC unit as i got a heating and plenty of male clones probably too so why not trying it out

what been your strains that cause trouble as soon you crossed the 80F mark stoned?
