I changed all my light bulbs to clf's (not cheap about $50; $7-$10 for a 5 pack of bulbs, but worth it) and it went down about $60 (every room has ceiling fans and 5 bulbs per) went from 40 watt bulbs to 9-10. Also Hand wash dishes and hang dry clothes and it helps alot. Added a 400 watt hps/MH and still see a reduction. My electric company's website has a very good list of ways to reduce your electric bill. |
