Yes you can run the filters like that but there wouldnt be any advantage to it.The filter is only going to work as good as it is.It will only take out what it is suppose to,rust ,odor,chlorine,some metals.To get any better water it would be r/o 3 or 4 stage filter.I will hook up 3 filter but run them all from the same supply line and fill up the buckets 3 at a time.Ruffly 2 mins 15 gal water.You can catch rain water if ant salt air by the coast or acid rain.Rivers are good but they can be bad for hydro,good for soil.Well water is good but sometimes is hard water.
