Another storage question I plan to use the "lock-lid" canning jars (with the snap-down wire locks) to cure my harvest once dried. Plan is (at this time) tor emove a sufficient amount to "hold me over" for a few days, and cure the rest in the jars.
I've read all the details of how to open the lid several times a day to re-hydrate the buds, but what about after the cure is finished? Does it ever actually "finish", or just improve with age?
Can I continue to store the buds in the jars (cool dark place) or should I repackage into vacuum bags or ? I am only going to have about 60 days worth of bud, so that is likely the longest any will need to be stored.
I'm getting as anxious as ever waiting for these buds to finish! 3 of 6 plants are showing amber trichs now, but just a few, and I expect the rest to follow-suit within a few days...meaning all 6 will be harvested within the next 10 days, most likely.
Thanks in advance for any help!
