Looks like a fun grow. When my plants (soil) were that size I generally gave them about 1/4 cup of water every 2 days, but ONLY if they needed it.

I trust my moisture gauge ($8.00) as it hasn't failed me yet, along with the pick-it-up-and-see-if-it-feels-dry method. Between those two I usually get it right.

Pick up some Superthrive...it isn't the be-all/end-all, but the damn stuff really helps a baby along. I use 1 drop per gal. in every watering.
