Hey iso,I read a thread on using molasses by the three brids on another site.If you are growing in soil,ok not in hydro. The kind of molasses you want is back strap or unsulphured molasses. Those are the only two you want to use. It's one table spoon per gal of water.I used it when I growth in soil.It will mix alot easyer if you heat up the water first. Now here's something to think about,It is sweet and if you have any kind of insect problems I wouldnt use it.Ants love sweet stuff and most bugs too.I like the carbo load from AN for my hydro grow,it mixs better in hydro and dosent clod up the hydro misters. It dosent make the bud sweet it give the plant carbohydrates that it needs in flowering, the plant uses up carbohydrates in flowing and molasses, carbo load puts back carbs for her to use in flowering and puts on weight.Helps her grow bigger buds.Hope that helps. PEACE
