Hi Richard, this is an interesting subject. My first thought was a friend of mine who had hepC, He is like the rest of us on GP, he loves his weed. Little did he know way back when that he became a mmj patient in Cal. Smoking we know is as helpful to the hep. patient as is for the cancer patient. With out the medical marijuana he grew himself, the whole battle with getting cured would of been unbareble. There was absolutely no negative side affects by useing marijuana, then theres the side affects from the chemical drugs they gave him., his liver is shot pretty much. I know he needed the doctors perscribed treatment and he also needed the weed.

My second thought was, I am sure just being in prison will make anyones health slide back let alone what it does to serious ill people. Now don't think me uncaring but, I am pretty sure there are so many sick preople outside the prison walls who can't get marijuana for themselves for what ever reason, it's free people who need it. I say how can it be right to give the prisoners the chance to use the medical marijuana when so many, who did no crime could use a little help, you know like the ones who can't even get legal or the ones who can't afford it or the ones who have unjustly been found guilty for using her much needed mmj... I as a tax payer wants to get it legal for every one out side the walls before I pay for the prisoners. Just my thoughts
