highly problematic if not diluted enough - in an 5gal DWC with 2-3gal water a 1/4 tea spoon will cause already massive foam build up that then will coat your babies roots. it really has to be highly diluted. in E&F it can work or it can kill your pump in no time - and a pump failure means most of the time a sudden death of our entire grow.

mono saccharides like fructose are far less problematic in hydro, so better look in that direction...
